SplitSmart works entirely offline. It has no internet permission, so the app cannot send any data anywhere.
- Expense, group, and settlement data is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage.
- The app has no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no trackers.
- Exports and backups are files you create yourself; the app never uploads them anywhere.
- Backups made through Android's auto-backup live in your device's Google/F-Droid backup, governed by your device settings, not by us.
If you contact us (for example, by opening an issue on the source repository), we will only ever use what you send us to respond to you.
