android.os is a non-optional package dependency since 0.9.7

in versions up to 0.9.6 of msgpack-core, the package dependency to "android.os" was optional. With 0.9.7 and following, it is no more optional and causes problems for me.
Is this intentional?

I am facing the same issue with the latest release 0.9.11. I cannot use this in an OSGi environment as I am not running/ deploying the application on an Android-based device. @frankbenoitbosch did you somehow resolve this?
