MiniWeb

A collection of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals, exercises, and projects created while learning and improving my web development skills.

This repository is a personal learning workspace where I practice building websites and interactive web applications while gradually improving my understanding of front-end development.

Purpose

The goal of this repository is to document my progress while learning web development and to provide a place to experiment with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Instead of only following tutorials, this repository focuses on writing actual code and building small projects.

The projects become progressively more challenging as I improve my understanding of web development concepts.

Technologies

The main technologies used throughout this repository are:

  • HTML5 — Structure and content
  • CSS3 — Styling, layouts, and responsive design
  • JavaScript — Interactivity and functionality

Depending on the project, additional browser APIs or web technologies may also be used.

Running the Projects

Most projects can be run directly in a web browser.

1. Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/0xolid/MiniWeb.git

2. Enter the repository

cd MiniWeb

3. Open a project

For example:

Projects/01-Easy/Hello/index.html

Open index.html in your web browser.

You can also use a development extension such as Live Server in Visual Studio Code for a better development experience.

Progress

This repository is a work in progress.

As I continue learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, new exercises and projects will be added.

Current Focus

  • Learning HTML fundamentals
  • Understanding semantic HTML
  • Learning CSS fundamentals
  • Practicing layouts with Flexbox and Grid
  • Building responsive websites
  • Learning JavaScript fundamentals
  • Working with the DOM
  • Handling user events
  • Building interactive web pages
  • Improving problem-solving skills
  • Writing cleaner and more maintainable code
  • Gradually increasing project complexity

Disclaimer

Some projects in this repository are created specifically for learning and experimentation.

They are not necessarily designed to be production-ready applications. Some projects may intentionally use simple or experimental approaches in order to practice a particular web development concept.

The code may improve over time as I learn better techniques and practices.

Contributions

This repository is primarily a personal learning project.

Suggestions, improvements, and constructive feedback are welcome.

If you find a bug or have an idea for improving a project, feel free to open an issue or submit a pull request.
