Work in progress for OP2-86, Slack as a second chat provider. This is a draft, pushed early as a checkpoint.

Done (builds):

  • Chat provider seam: IChatProvider plus ChatServiceRouter, modelled on CodeProviders.cs. TeamsService is now an IChatProvider.
  • SlackService, which covers users.conversations, conversations.history/info/members, users.info with a name cache, chat.postMessage, mrkdwn rendering and thread counts.
  • SlackApi, which handles the ok:false envelope and 429 Retry-After as sentences.
  • SlackConnectionService: a pasted user token, plus an auth.test probe that names any missing scopes.
  • ProviderKind.Slack, catalog entries, the add/check/replace-token endpoints and the add-connection form.
  • Chat tools now say which service they're talking to.
  • Mocked-HTTP tests in tests/OutPost2.Tests/Teams/SlackTests.cs.

Left:

  • Run the test suite and fix failures.
  • Write the full PR description: decisions, Slack-vs-Teams table, test results, live-verification list.
