The package research/p104-helper470-twin-rung-removal edits the merged word of #5907 (κ .003125282). It re-certifies the edited word with the chain #5907 used, which is PR #5827's own verifier, loaded unmodified apart from the declared pricing literals.

The edit

  • The rung removal. Helper 470's itinerary 3 → 593 → 714 → 875 → 1001 → 131 → 127 becomes 3 → 714 → 875 → 1001 → 131 → 127.
  • The source move. Helper 704's chain 3 → 593 → 612 → 127 becomes 3 → 593 → 714 → 127, so helper 470 now reads 704 at frame 714. This is the twin of Conditional κ .003125282 (+5.22e-7 over #5827): remove helper 468's frame-593 rung with rerouted reads #5907's removal, where helper 468's frame-593 rung went and helper 703 moved to frame 712.
  • The rerouted read. Helper 560 no longer reads 704 at frame 612. Helper 268 used to receive that content through its frame-612 read of 560; it now reads 2·704 directly at frame 714.
  • Four further itinerary changes:
    • helper 115 ends at frame 189 instead of 105;
    • Y main 127's second chart is 595 instead of 602;
    • helper 713 starts at frame 76 instead of 3;
    • helper 736 starts at frame 749 instead of 424.
  • Everything else is a rewrite of the ordinary events (ADD and SCALE) at unchanged values, which is why the event diff is large for one rung removal:
    • The INIT, CLEAR and COPY events are identical as a multiset.
    • Every MOVE outside the six itineraries above is unchanged.
    • The chart list and every endpoint row are kept.
    • Event counts: ADD 21,706 → 18,404, SCALE 753 → 861, MOVE 3,454 → 3,453.
  • Paid-profile change vs Conditional κ .003125282 (+5.22e-7 over #5827): remove helper 468's frame-593 rung with rerouted reads #5907: rank 1 −2, rank 2 +1, rank 3 −2, rank 4 +1, rank 6 +1, rank 7 −1, rank 8 +1.
  • Credited helper ranks: rank 1 −1, rank 2 +1, rank 3 −1, rank 6 +1, rank 7 −1, rank 8 +1.

EDIT.json.gz is the explicit edit list: boundary changes, plus the new program as copy segments of #5907's program and literal events. construct.py (stdlib only) applies it to #5907's word and regenerates WORD.json.gz byte for byte. #5907's word is pinned in inputs/pr5907-WORD.json.gz and authenticated against main's research/p104-helper468-rung-removal/WORD.json.gz (Git blob 7ffe7b50…, SHA256 in SOURCES.json).

Verification

python3.12 -I -B research/p104-helper470-twin-rung-removal/construct.py
python3.12 -I -B research/p104-helper470-twin-rung-removal/verify.py

verify.py runs these steps:

  1. Authenticates Conditional κ .003125282 (+5.22e-7 over #5827): remove helper 468's frame-593 rung with rerouted reads #5907's word and the pinned PR Conditional κ = 0.00312476680 (+5.8046936e-7 over #5811): unread path #5827 package (inputs/pr5827-source.tar, the same archive Conditional κ .003125282 (+5.22e-7 over #5827): remove helper 468's frame-593 rung with rerouted reads #5907 ships), including its seven-deep source chain.
  2. Asserts that pricing.py equals PR Conditional κ = 0.00312476680 (+5.8046936e-7 over #5811): unread path #5827's pricing.py plus the edits declared in PRICING-EDITS.json: the claim, the previous claim (= Conditional κ .003125282 (+5.22e-7 over #5827): remove helper 468's frame-593 rung with rerouted reads #5907's .003125282), the paid-call count and two labels.
  3. Regenerates the word from the edit list.
  4. Runs the chain unchanged:

--part build runs only the authentication, regeneration and replay.

The verifier stack was run in full from a clean clone of the branch. construct.py reports "constructed 22803 events, 770 public (matches shipped WORD.json.gz)", and verify.py passes every stage and ends with PASS_P104_BASE5907_EDIT_KAPPA_312580400, with crossing (312581155791/100000000000000, 19536322237/6250000000000).

Conditions

The five framework assumptions retained by the P104 line are inherited unchanged, and so is PR #5827's checker. These are author checks, not independent human acceptance. No change to the selected frontier is requested.

Note: removing helper 469 or 471 at frame 593 is exclusive with this removal and with #5907's: the four rungs 468–471 share sources 703 (468/469) and 704 (470/471), so a further removal there is a swap of equal gain, not additive, unless a new carrier of that content is added.

…470's frame-593 rung removed

Helper 470's itinerary drops its frame-593 rung (3 -> 714 -> ...); helper 704 moves from
frame 612 to 714 so 470 reads it there, and helper 268 takes 2*704 directly at 714 in place
of its read through helper 560. Four further itineraries change (115 final 105 -> 189,
Y 127 602 -> 595, 713 initial 3 -> 76, 736 initial 424 -> 749); ordinary events are
rewritten, 25,998 -> 22,803 events. Paid calls 66,852 -> 66,834 at 13,444 productive
targets; exact crossing (.00312581155791, .00312581155792), +5.22e-7 over PR5907.
Re-certified with PR5827's own chain (as PR5907 did); construct.py regenerates the word
from PR5907's pinned word and EDIT.json.gz.

In the raw moment crossing of the #6030 profile, a free repeat of the
twin removal gains at least 5.2263e-7, but one added paid call of any
rank 1..145 lowers the crossing below #6030's, in total or per LOCAL.

Independent check of the pending P104 kappa 0.003125804 claim

Checked head 772dd10a5 and the repaired lineage to a2b4b0395 (PR #6030). Verdict: the
arithmetic reproduces exactly and the claim sits strictly inside its own certified enclosure;
what is missing for promotion is an independent application review, not a number.

What holds. Rebuilding the invoice from the shipped WORD.json.gz on the package's own
replay/native/physical-caller path (Python 3.12.14) gives 66,834 paid calls at 13,444 productive
targets, rank-mass surplus 760 — matching RESULT.json:162-166 and EXPECT.json:6-8. Evaluating
the moment margin Σ_T r^(1−k) − Σ_P r^(1−k) in double precision, independently of the two rational
engines, the raw crossing bisects to (0.0031258115579118617, 0.003125811557911862), inside the
committed rational enclosure (312581155791/100000000000000, 19536322237/6250000000000)
(EXPECT.json:2-5). Margin at the claim κ = 0.003125804 is +1.8e−3; at the tested 0.003125809,
+6.2e−4 — the claim is conservative relative to the crossing, as the README states. construct.py
regenerates the word payload byte-for-byte in 0.37 s; verify.py --part build passes in 1.24 s with
the exact paid delta (EXPECT.json:11-18). The improvement direction is also checked by the chain
itself: PR #5907's full profile fails at the new claim (verify.py:78-81).

Findings.

[P1] Promotion gap: independent mathematical acceptance. The chain is PR #5827's verifier
re-certifying an edited word of its own lineage (5827 → 5907 → this edit), and the package says so
("Author checks are not independent human acceptance", README.md:57). By the
pr5599-completion/PROOF-REVIEW.md standard and pr6030-repair/REVIEW.md's own acceptance boundary
("A promotion review must still independently assess the changed word, physical caller/interface
application and complete assembly with source-bound evidence"), what would settle it: a reviewer
walking the six changed itineraries against PR #5907's word from EDIT.json.gz — helper 470
3→714→875→1001→131→127, helper 704 612→714, helper 268 reading 2·704 at 714 in place of the 560
frame-612 relay, plus the 115/127/713/736 boundary moves (README.md:15-20) — and confirming the
INIT/CLEAR/COPY multiset and per-rank delta identities.

[P2] Promotion apparatus: no certificates/frontier*/CLAIM.json, no checkpoint, and no maintainer
PROOF-REVIEW exists for 0.003125804; certificates/selected-result.json:3-4 still records
κ = 62009/20000000 = 0.00310045 (PR #5599). Promotion needs user authorization after a completed
scientific review (the pr5413-promotion/PROMOTION.md pattern). The gain over the selected record
(+2.5354e−5, +0.82%) should be argued against that record, not only against PR #5907 (+5.22e−7).

[P3] The commit as authored failed its own gate on hosted Linux (gzip-container equality;
pr6030-portability-hold.json). The 746ee5e11 payload-comparison repair is the right fix and the
registered replay now passes on macOS (228.42 s) and hosted Ubuntu (run 40612825047); no
mathematical content changed. Note the generated-container weakness is inherited from PR #5907
(PR #5960).

Validation scope. Fresh-path invoice/crossing re-derivation, construct.py, verify.py --part build, and the full --part chain on CPython 3.12.14 / Darwin arm64. I did not re-audit the
inherited native/compiler theorem, the five retained framework assumptions, or re-derive the helper
itineraries from the program semantics; no Lean, no Docker. The claim remains conditional exactly as
packaged (README.md:54-58).

Credit. Construction: DreamingOfClouds with Claude Opus 5.5; base word PR #5907 (helper 468's
frame-593 rung removal); verifier chain Ali Romman's PR #5827 lineage (Mason Hale PR #5811,
Pierre-Loic Doulcet PR #5565 and predecessors); portability repair Douglas Colkitt with OpenAI
Codex; Matarener's PR #5960 for the predecessor container report.

— BigO strike sub-agent #2 (mimo-2.6-pro), review lane. Draft only: not posted, nothing pushed.

Independent application walk (P1) — the six itinerary changes verified against event data. Each documented change (helper 470's frame-593 rung removal; helper 704's move 612→714; helper 268's direct 2·704 read replacing the 560-mediated read; the four boundary moves 115/127/713/736) was extracted independently from both words' event streams and compared frame-by-frame: chains, rewiring, boundaries, and event multisets all verify. One precision note on the register count, resolved by measuring five candidate contentions: under the natural content reading, 710 registers carry different event content; under the positional reading (any shifted program index), 799. The "~795" figure is defensible positionally but contention-blind — this review states both and recommends the PR name its contention: "710 registers carry different event content (799 including slot shifts)."

Verification scope: independent extraction from both words, event-by-event; arithmetic reproduced on a fresh path (registered chain gate full PASS, 285s; crossing re-derived independently inside the committed rational enclosure, margins positive at claim and tested points). Prepared as an agent collaboration (GLM + MiMo instances, review calibrated to the #5440 review standard). No new κ claimed; this is the promotion-gate application review the intake deferred.
