For @joergbenke's setup. Cheatsheet:

cd TSMP2
git pull && git checkout dev-scalasca-profiling
./build_tsmp2.sh eclm parflowgpu --build_type profile --env env/jsc.2026.gnu.openmpi

scorep wrapper guide: https://perftools.pages.jsc.fz-juelich.de/cicd/scorep/tags/latest/html/scorepwrapper.html

Hooking Score-P into TSMP2 build system is indeed painful:

Workaround is to do an old-school manual build, which allows SCOREP env vars and custom flags to be easily injected without going through the Russian-doll-esque TSMP2 build system. Here's the working Scalasca build recipe:

# Make sure to get latest changes!
cd ${TSMP2_ROOT}
git pull && git checkout dev-scalasca-profiling
git submodule update --init --force models/eCLM models/parflow models/oasis3-mct

# Run Score-P TSMP2 build
./build_eclmparflowgpu_profile.sh

@joergbenke please try the binaries at /p/scratch/cslts/shared_data/TSMP2_S2026/JUWELSBOOSTER_eCLM-ParflowGPU_S2026_GNU-OPENMPI_SCALASCA. These has been compiled with the scorep --thread=pthread option.
