docs(deployments): record the v2 contracts on Base, Polygon and the testnets - #342
dev: a maintainer wallet, so the fee can still be adjusted. On Base and Polygon it is handed to devFeeReceiver with proposeDev / acceptDev once the fee is settled.
Screenshots/Recordings:
No UI changes. Each new contract was checked on-chain before this PR:
Base:dev, devFeeReceiver, devFee = 5e12 wei, MAX_BATCH = 50 and MAX_CREATE_BATCH = 30 read back from the contract. Runtime bytecode hash 0x84ad…7e95, the same as Sepolia.
Polygon:dev, devFeeReceiver and devFee = 0.1 POL read back from the contract; same bytecode hash; exact match on Sourcify.
Amoy: settings read back from the contract; runtime bytecode hash 0x84ad…7e95, the same as the others.
Sepolia and Mordor: a scripted end-to-end run against the deployed contracts passed 36/36 checks on each. It covered the key registry, single and batch create and pay, cancel, an ERC-20 invoice, pagination, fee controls and withdrawFees with the new DevFeesWithdrawn event, plus revert cases.
Additional Notes:
Changes
Deployments.md: split into a v2 table (the six contracts above) and a v1 table (the original Ethereum Classic, Polygon and Sepolia contracts). The intermediate Sepolia, Mordor and Amoy deployments made during development are removed.
README.md and frontend/README.md: environment examples and the "Deployed Contracts" list use the v2 addresses, with Base, Polygon and Amoy included.
frontend/.env.example, frontend/Dockerfile, docker-compose.yml: defaults now point at Base, Polygon, Sepolia, Mordor and Amoy v2. The Docker files previously defaulted to the retired 0x65eb… Sepolia contract.
.github/workflows/deploy.yml: the Pages build injects VITE_CONTRACT_ADDRESS_137 again, since Polygon mainnet now has a v2 contract. Ethereum Classic stays excluded until it has one. The ETC warnings in the READMEs and .env.example are narrowed to match.
frontend/.env.preview: PR previews use the new preview contract 0xDDE8…46B3, Sepolia only.
Version:frontend/package.json and package-lock.json bumped from 0.0.0 to 2.0.0 for the v2.0.0 release.
VITE_CONTRACT_ADDRESS_137 = 0x9b31…07E1 (previously the v1 contract)
The live site switches to these contracts on the Pages deploy that runs when this PR merges. Wallets register their messaging key again on the new contracts.
Checks
npm run lint: clean.
npm run test:ci: 568/568 pass.
vite build --mode preview: the bundle contains only the preview contract, with no production or mainnet address.
docker compose --profile prod config: resolves the new defaults.

- Deployments.md lists only the v1 contracts and the new v2 contracts:
Base mainnet, Sepolia, the Sepolia PR-preview contract and Mordor,
all built from 4f1a92c and verified on Sourcify.
- README, frontend README, .env.example, Dockerfile and docker-compose
point at the v2 addresses and include Base.
- PR previews use the new preview contract on Sepolia only.
- The Pages build no longer injects Polygon Amoy, which still runs the
previous build.

Walkthrough
The pull request documents v2 deployments on five networks and updates contract addresses in frontend build configuration, environment examples, and a test fixture. Ethereum Classic remains unconfigured because its deployed contract is v1.

Summary
Document v2 deployments and compatibility Deployments.md, README.md
The deployment records and project documentation list v2 deployments and describe v1 compatibility. The documentation identifies Ethereum Classic as still requiring a v2 deployment.
The build configuration, environment examples, and test fixture use updated addresses. Ethereum Classic remains unset. The deploy workflow removes Polygon’s contract-address build variable.
Fix the Markdown heading hierarchy and preserve explicitly disabled networks before merging.

A rabbit checks each address twice, Five v2 networks join the list. The old v1 note stays for reference, Ethereum Classic waits for v2. Then carrots mark the rollout complete.

Review comments at @Deployments.md:
- Line 7: Update the v2 and v1 section headings in Deployments.md to level-two
headings, matching their peer-section hierarchy under Deployments and avoiding
the markdownlint MD001 violation.
Review comments at @docker-compose.yml:
- Line 96: Update the address variable interpolations in the Compose frontend
configuration to use unset-only defaults, preserving blank values as explicitly
disabled networks while still applying defaults when variables are unset.
