- Around line 55-58: Update the strike-result handling in GraveDeathListener so
that when the final result leaves the character ALIVE, it clears killer-only
status on the corresponding grave and flushes it. Ensure this final result
overrides the earlier killerOnly prediction used by graveContext.
- Around line 102-105: Update the insurance-ticket binding flow in the grave
creation logic around `killerOnly`: skip both `GraveInsuranceTickets.bind` and
`bindTicket` for killer-only graves, and return any extracted `bundledTicket` to
`splitTicket` for the victim. Preserve the existing binding paths for other
graves.

…trikes Every character starts nonlethal and lethal mode is never saved. /pvp lethal shows a warning and needs /pvp lethal confirm. In a /pvp start fight a lethal kill strikes at once (or kills on the last strike, leaving a grave only the killer can open). A nonlethal knockout keeps the victim down, unhurt and unable to fight, while the winner decides for up to five minutes. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The grave listener marks a grave killer-only from the strike it expects to kill. If the permakill is cancelled the character lives, so the strike now hands the grave back to its owner. Killer-only graves no longer bind an insurance ticket the owner could never use. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Every character now starts nonlethal, and turning lethal on is a deliberate, confirmed choice. In a
/pvp startfight a lethal player's kill strikes at once, and a nonlethal player's knockout keeps the victim down while the winner decides, for up to five minutes of roleplay.PvP modes
CharacterSessionStartEvent). Existingpvp-lethalvalues in character files are ignored and dropped on the next save./pvp lethalshowsmessages.lethal-warningand a clickable [Confirm]. Lethal turns on only with/pvp lethal confirmwithinlethal-confirm-seconds(30), for the same character the warning was shown for./pvp nonlethalis immediate and drops an unconfirmed request.pvp.yml(lethal-warning,lethal-confirm-*,already-lethal,downed-blocked,auto-strike-victim).Lethal kills in a
/pvp startfight/pvp start, SimpleFactions battles and duels are unchanged.Nonlethal knockouts
/pvp startfight the victim stays down until the winner chooses, for up tostrikes.decision-seconds(now 300). Spare/Strike, and Wound/Maim/Kill when the strike would kill, are unchanged. No choice, or the winner logging out, spares the victim. Outside a fight a knockout still lastsknockout-seconds(30).knockout-blindness-seconds(60) and is lifted when the winner chooses sooner./kill, the void and the world border (battles stay lethal), so no one can finish them off while the winner decides.KnockoutRestrictions: a downed player can chat, but cannot attack, shoot bows, launch projectiles, cast MythicLib skills (class skills, MMOItems abilities and Magic spells), interact, eat or drink, swap hands, drop items, or place and break blocks. A throttled notice explains why.Graves
CharacterPermakillEventturns it back into an ordinary locked grave its owner can open. Killer-only graves bind no insurance ticket.rpchar.grave.admin) can open. The dead character's owner can't recover, unlock or insure it back. The flag is saved askillerOnlyin the grave JSON.graves.yml: newkiller-onlyandunlock-killer-onlymessages.Tutorials
pvp-strikesis replaced bypvp-modesandevil-rpbyevil-rp-lethal, so everyone sees the new rules once. Both are bundled, so servers get them without editingtutorials.yml.Known limitation
GunsAndGadgets fires guns from right-clicks even when the click is cancelled, so a downed player's gun still shoots. Its MythicLib damage is blocked, but the armour-piercing share (plain
damage()with no source) still lands. Fixing that needs a GunsAndGadgets change.Deployment notes
pvp.ymlkeeps its own values: setstrikes.decision-seconds: 300and updatemessages.start-warningandmessages.lethalby hand. New keys use the bundled defaults.PvpKnockoutManager.onLethalDamage(one hunk); whichever merges second needs a small rebase.Validation
Local (Windows): the changed PvP, grave, evil RP, tutorial, permadeath and database suites pass; the full suite shows only the existing Windows-only file-permission failures. Linux CI runs the full suite and the zero-missed-lines coverage gate. Dev (TFMCDev01): five mineflayer bots played seeded characters through the selection dialog. Re-run on
DEV-20261017-1128(2c191c5, after the CodeRabbit fixes): all 41 checks passed. Covered: seededpvp-lethal: trueignored; warning, confirmation, refusal without a warning,/pvp nonlethal; 30 s knockout outside a fight with blindness, no hits out, no damage in, no prompt; in a fight the knockout outlasts 30 s, nobody can finish the victim, Strike lands and lifts blindness at once; winner logging out spares; lethal kill strikes at once with no prompt and items kept; last-strike kill marks the character DEAD and leaves akillerOnlygrave a bystander can't open and the killer loots; relog resets to nonlethal and lethal is never saved; no RPCharacters exceptions.Docs: Docs #291.
