System Requirements

• Node.js v18.x or higher.

• npm v9.x or higher / Yarn v1.22 or higher.

• JDK 11 or higher.

• Android Studio with Android SDK configured.

• Gradle 7.x.

• A physical Android device or emulator.

Project Setup

1.Clone the Repository

git clone [<(https://github.com/VicMeGa/APP_ToDoList>] cd <APP_ToDoList>

2.Install Dependencies

npm install or yarn install

3.Configure Android Environment

• Ensure ANDROID_HOME is set in your ~/.bashrc, ~/.zshrc, or equivalent:

export ANDROID_HOME=$HOME/Android/Sdk
export PATH=$ANDROID_HOME/emulator:$ANDROID_HOME/tools:$ANDROID_HOME/tools/bin:$ANDROID_HOME/platform-tools:$PATH 

• Apply changes by running:

source ~/.bashrc  # or ~/.zshrc

4.Update Gradle Wrapper (Optional)

If needed, update Gradle to a compatible version:

cd android
./gradlew wrapper --gradle-version 7.6

5.Start the Project

To launch the app on Android:

npx react-native run-android

Troubleshooting

• Deprecated Gradle Features: Run the following command to identify warnings:

./gradlew build --warning-mode all

• Cache Issues: Clean the project:

cd android
./gradlew clean
cd ..

• Incompatible Versions: Ensure dependencies are updated in android/build.gradle and android/app/build.gradle.
