Why

dsql-lint relies on the session transaction AST to distinguish supported
SET SESSION CHARACTERISTICS forms from unsupported transaction settings.
Accepting another scope as a session transaction can make malformed input pass
that validation.

What

  • Require SESSION and at least one transaction mode for
    SET ... CHARACTERISTICS AS TRANSACTION.
  • Preserve valid transaction modes in the AST and SQL round trip.
  • Bump sqlparser-dsql to 0.62.11 for the linter update.

Testing

  • Parser regression tests pass for scope and mode rejection, AST preservation,
    and SQL round trip.
  • Formatting, the all-feature suite, strict Clippy including the benchmark
    crate, and warning-denying Rustdoc pass.
  • thumbv6m-none-eabi no-std check and publish dry-run pass.

References

Require SESSION and a transaction mode for SET CHARACTERISTICS. Preserve
transaction modes in the session AST and bump sqlparser-dsql to 0.62.11.
