The test file ScanConsistencyIT is a standalone-capable IT, and can be run as a test or from main.
Additional test commands are available for release testing when the test jar is placed on the classpath.
This gives users access to some utilities to use for manual testing: TestIngest, TestMultiTableIngest,
VerifyIngest, TestRandomDeletes.

I think the main thing to document isn't the IT, but that some additional test commands are available for release testing when the test jar is on the classpath, for example, to generate some data to ingest and verify ingest.
