govulncheck -scan module on main (ea491e1) reports three advisories in indirect golang.org/x/* modules:

  • GO-2026-6629: golang.org/x/text v0.34.0, fixed in v0.41.0
  • GO-2026-5970: golang.org/x/text v0.34.0, fixed in v0.39.0
  • GO-2026-5024: golang.org/x/sys v0.42.0, fixed in v0.44.0

The symbol-level scan (govulncheck ./...) finds none of them reachable from this code, so this is hygiene before 0.3.0 rather than an exploitable fix. It mainly keeps the release binaries from being flagged by downstream scanners.

Changes:

  • Bump golang.org/x/text to v0.41.0 and golang.org/x/sys to v0.44.0. golang.org/x/sync moves to v0.22.0 with them via go mod tidy. The go directive is unchanged.
  • Regenerate dist/LICENSE with make fix-dependency-license. Only those three version lines change.
  • Add a line to the 0.3.0 section of CHANGES.md.

Verification:

  • govulncheck ./... and govulncheck -scan module now report no vulnerabilities.
  • go build ./..., go vet ./... and go test ./... pass.
  • make dependency-license passes and leaves the tree clean.

docker/login-action v4.4.0 (af1e73f) was pruned from the ASF allowed-actions
list, so publish-docker failed at startup on main after #45. Move it to v4.6.0
and setup-buildx-action to v4.4.1, the newest approved SHAs; the v4.2.0 buildx
pin expires on 2026-11-19.
