The T6030 backend is already enabled in the shared kernel fragment, but it has a separate build option and repeated conditional code. Compile it with the common SIO driver and select its boot-table validator, FIFO threshold and descriptor handling through the existing apple,t6030-sio compatible. The generic apple, sio profile retains the M1/M2 behavior. Keep the protocol-10 validation and refuse incompatible tables before DMA or hardware setup. Remove APPLE_SIO_T6030 and its shared fragment request. Update the binding description, synthetic DT overlay and KUnit probe cases to cover the specific match, missing/older tables and an unknown compatible. The common fragment already builds the T6030 SIO backend, but it has a separate platform option and repeated conditionals. Compile all profiles with APPLE_SIO and select FIFO, descriptor clearing and boot-table validation through of_device_id.data for the existing DT compatibles. Generic match data retains M1/M2 behavior. Remove APPLE_SIO_T6030 and its fragment request.
Protocol-10 validation still refuses unsupported tables before DMA or hardware setup. The same PR includes the binding description, synthetic DT and specific/generic/missing/unknown profile tests. Existing hardware DTs already carry the selecting compatibles; no new opt-in or artificial DT property is needed. Stacked on #466.
Validation at 916dcbf: complete Image/modules/dtbs builds passed with WERROR for both ARM64 defconfig + asahi.config and Fedora-base + asahi.config. Both Apple dtbs_check commands ran; inherited schema diagnostics are retained, with unchanged hardware DTS/schema constraints. QEMU KUnit: 358 passed, 95 skipped, zero failures/crashes/errors. Required SIO, thermal, USER4K and applicable Asahi suites execute. The full apple-dcp host suite passes 63/63, with source/tree/compiler/time/checksum receipts. Complete resolved configs preserve every enabled driver.
Hardware smokes before merge: use the same image on Neo, M1 Pro, M2 and J616s for boot, native display/GPU, protected audio, input, networking, USB, thermal governor/temperature/fan behavior and applicable suspend/refusal behavior. M3 G15/SIO and J713 display/GPU also need affected-device coverage. Keep the previous daily and user sessions available; target operations remain controller-gated. No hardware qualification is claimed. T6030 additionally needs qualified M3 Pro HDMI/SIO audio and unsupported-table refusal checks.
