Connect orphaned branches to their nearest inventoried directory ancestor without changing recorded parent metadata.
Capture the current view and filter, including collapsed descendants. Provide standalone HTML controls and atomic file saving.
Place firmware variable records beneath a shared presentation group instead of attaching each directly to the computer.
Share synchronous inventory discovery and connection ancestry between frontends. Add native terminal trees, basic device properties and manual refresh without Qt Widgets linkage or a Qt event loop.
Use supported QChar category checks and restore the stat header required by the GUI device monitor.
Add a configurable list of libraries after FINAL CUT on the TUI link line and document static-link configuration.
Retain item pointers and resolve parent iterators immediately before insertion. Reset sorting during rebuilds to preserve insertion results.
Search captured inventory values in the current tree projection. Add a native Find dialog, next/previous navigation, match counts, and automatic ancestor expansion.
Encapsulate selection in DeviceTree and use public keyboard-event handling instead of private navigation helpers.
Keep exec() active until the user accepts or closes each dialog.
Replace modal Find with a persistent filter field. Retain matching devices and ancestors, restore unfiltered view state, and separate TUI components by responsibility.
Synchronize master with the TUI branch
Reveal filtering with F4 or Ctrl+F. Clear and hide it with Escape, restoring tree state and reclaiming the available space.
Extract common field formatting for both frontends and shorten shared captions and notes. Add structured TUI pages while retaining raw inventory values in Details.
Center and bound dialog dimensions. Align field values and use native alternating row highlights while preserving multiline content.
Use native dialog resize and move methods to repaint uncovered areas.~
Expand or collapse branch rows while retaining leaf activation for device properties.
Intercept page-navigation keys within Properties and focus the content after switching, preserving native handling of other keys.
Restore standard Tab focus traversal while retaining page cycling and content focus after switching.
Display Previous/Next page hints while Properties is open and restore the browser status keys and message when it closes.
Pass the status-bar pointer as a value and scope removal to activation.
Drop the snapshot banner and redundant attribute heading while preserving values and correcting row-highlight offsets.
