Rewrite "What's in a release" around the release workbook (cover, producer and purchaser price tabs, auxiliary tabs) and add an update-cadence section with a release-cycle figure. The figure is a hand-drawn SVG generated by figures/scripts/release_cycle.py and listed in figures/figures.csv. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Move the two update-cadence options (two parallel versions with a time series, and a two-year version lifecycle) out of "What's in a release" into drafts/, and exclude drafts/** from the build so neither is published yet. Add the lifecycle figure, its generator script and inventory row. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The annual-release and time-series paragraph applies to every cadence option, so it stays on the published page. The two option drafts now start after it. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Drop the time-series sentences from the shared paragraph, matching the working Google Doc. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Drop "as a CSV file" from the summary, rename the section to "The release", and reword its opening sentence. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Charts for the release candidate page, built from the percentage steps on slides 17 and 25 of the Practitioners Forum deck. The listed steps do not sum exactly to the stated net change, so the remainder is drawn as "Other" until the science team confirms the attribution. The final bar shows the stated end value and the last step is not forced to land on it, until the science team confirms the attribution. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Replace the placeholder with the RC summary, what changed, the China, Europe and US-imports examples, and the emission-factor comparison, with the five figures. Change-log links stay as plain text until those pages exist in the repo. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Use the standard Summary tip, move the three questions into dropdowns, make "Why do these improvements matter?" a section with the three examples under it, redraw the three charts with white backgrounds and titles and sources in the captions, keep only Germany in the Europe example, and remove the two driver sections (they move to the change logs). Two child pages under the release candidate page, written from the working Docs, each with its waterfall chart (title and axis note now in the caption). The release candidate page links to both, and the combined draft page is gone. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…ts come from Replace the unsupported claim that most components come from South East Asia with the public trade picture (about half from Mexico and Canada, about a quarter from China, Japan and South Korea) and add a chart of parts imports by origin, with the ITA/MNI source in the caption. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Replace the parts-imports bar chart with a single horizontal stacked bar: the domestic share (47%, mean US and Canadian parts content of 87 US-assembled light trucks, NHTSA AALA MY2025) and the imported share split by origin using the 2024 ITA/MNI auto parts import mix without Canada. Sources and method are in the caption. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…ent chart The AALA data reports US and Canadian content together, so Canada is estimated from its 10% share of US auto parts imports (about 6% of components), leaving about 41% made in the US. The caption states the method and its limits. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Short caption with the two sources, and plain "Europe" and "ASEAN" labels. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Link the word Zenodo on the release candidate page and in the "What's in a release" summary, and fill zenodo_doi in the RC version record. The pages link through zenodo.org/doi/... because MyST's strict build rejects an unresolved doi.org link, and the DOI does not resolve until the record is published. …pages Under the release candidate page: "Summary of changes vs. USEEIO", "Summary of changes vs. CEDA" and "Change log" (the full table of data and methodology changes plus the model reconciliation decisions). Rename the two earlier change-log pages into the summaries, write the USEEIO summary from the working Doc, redraw its four charts (summary, company histogram, drivers, cement), add a matching CEDA summary chart, and link the RC page to all three.
