I hold a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Almería and have a background in industrial and computer engineering, with a particular interest in electronics, embedded systems, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
As an independent researcher, I focus on Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring (NILM), energy efficiency, and reproducible research using open-source hardware and software. My work includes the development of the Open Multi Power Meter (OMPM) in versions 1, 2 and 3, experiments with openZmeter (oZm), and the creation and evaluation of multple datasets as por example **DSUAL,DSUALM,DSUALM10,DSUALM10H, UALM2, etc ** compatible with NILMTK.
I also maintain the technical blog Soloelectronicos.com, where I publish projects, tutorials, and resources related to electronics, microcontrollers, computing, and energy monitoring.
