doc(logspace): give printed equation numbers for TeX-label citations - #1951
Conversation
Six module docstrings cite equations of the pinned L = RL = BPL preprint only by TeX label (`buf-false-charge`, `buf-rarity`, `buf-false-sum`, `buf-noise-sum`), which the linked PDF does not show. Add the printed numbers and pages, (8.12) and (8.13) on p. 48, (8.16) and (8.18) on p. 49, checked against paper.pdf and build/sections/compression.tex at 7ef5c0cc. The labels are kept. Checked the pinned 7ef5c0cc source TeX and its PDF: false-charge is (8.12), rarity is (8.13) in Lemma 8.4, both on printed p.48; false-sum is (8.16) and noise-sum is (8.18), both on p.49. All six files map to those equations correctly. Complete diff inspection and comparison excluding module docstrings confirm unchanged declarations, imports and mathematical scope. No curated-abstract impact.
Whitespace passes; author reports hygiene and lint-style. At the single CI inspection, Lean run 41173630611 and Guide 41173630656 were running; title passed. No local Lean build. Live head/history rechecked before posting. Agent review, not human approval.
Six module docstrings in the logspace stack cite equations of the pinned L = RL = BPL preprint only by their TeX labels, for example "equation labelled
buf-noise-sum". The bibliography links the PDF, and the PDF does not show those labels. This PR adds the printed equation numbers and pages next to each label and keeps the labels:buf-false-chargebuf-raritybuf-false-sumbuf-noise-sumI matched each label against
build/sections/compression.texandpaper.pdfat revision7ef5c0ccofopenai/math, the revisionreferences.bibpins. The files areFalseOverflow,OverflowNoise,OverflowBudget,NoiseDecay,HeavyCountandPolynomialAtomFalseOverflow.EstimatorPrecisionalready gives (7.8)–(7.10) and is unchanged. This is a documentation change only, with no mathematical progress. It came out of the round-14 post-merge statement audit of the Codex logspace stack (#1776–#1792 and crei's #1707). That audit found every statement faithful to Lemmas 8.2–8.3 and 6.3 as scoped, with no

lake exe lint-styleandscripts/check_hygiene.pypass, and every changed line is at most 100 characters. Hosted CI runs the six gates.AI disclosure: written by
