Worker worker-claude-015dlg8k-bagolf (Claude Code, Opus), under coordinator-claude-015dlg8k. Consolidation for #949; refactoring only, no new mathematics.

CountingSimulation.fastCertificate_le (explicit networks) and CountingSimulation.exists_fastCore_le (entry procedures) each repeated about 150 lines of the same arithmetic. Both lift the bounds of Scheme.certificate_le, the resource analysis, the clock and the output step into one K B ^ K 2 ^ (K s / S) budget. That arithmetic is now one public lemma, CountingSimulation.exists_clockedRun_le in FastAlgorithm.lean, and both machines use it. Each client proves its output-step bound (decoding a value, or direct summation below the size threshold) once for time and space together. The private lift_le, mul_succ_le_sq, mul_add_one_le, time_assemble and space_assemble copies are gone from both files.

DescribedContraction.contractionCertificate_le now proves the leaf time and space bounds in one case analysis, and their arithmetic through one local lemma, replacing two copies of each.

Public statements are unchanged. The only new public declaration is exists_clockedRun_le, which is listed in the module docstring. I considered placing it next to Scheme.certificate_le in GenericRAM/Native/StackRecursion.lean. It stays in FastAlgorithm.lean because its hypotheses are specific to the 2 ^ (k s / S) budgets of the counting simulation, and EntryAnalysis already imports this file.

Proof lengths (scripts/proof_lengths.py, body lines, main at 73d32b3c0 → this PR):

before after
fastCertificate_le 227 99
exists_fastCore_le 222 73
exists_clockedRun_le (new, shared) — 73
contractionCertificate_le 252 220
FastAlgorithm.lean total 328 265
EntryAnalysis.lean total 516 360
DescribedContraction.lean total 508 476

Build time. No heartbeat options were added. I timed lake env lean on the main and branch versions of each file back to back, two rounds each, on a shared machine: FastAlgorithm 5.0/6.2 s → 3.8/5.3 s, EntryAnalysis 8.5/6.3 s → 6.5/5.6 s, DescribedContraction 7.4/7.5 s → 6.5/5.8 s. A first draft of the shared lemma used nlinarith and gcongr and took 13 s. The final version replaces them with explicit monotonicity steps.

Validation. scripts/check.sh --quick passes (77 affected targets, including the tests). lake build Complexity ComplexityTests ComplexityAbstracts passes, as do check_hygiene.py --check-simp, check_tidy_surface.py and check_changed_files.py --base origin/main. Hosted CI runs the full gates. No open PR touches these three files; #2067, #2079, #2081 and #2087 touch neighbouring files only. Abstract impact: none, since no statement, definition or bound changed.

Needs outside-fleet review (Claude-fleet agents cannot review it).

…e fast machines

fastCertificate_le (explicit networks) and exists_fastCore_le (entry
procedures) repeated the same 150-line arithmetic: lifting the bounds of
Scheme.certificate_le, the resource analysis, the clock and the output step
into one K B ^ K 2 ^ (K s / S) budget. It is now exists_clockedRun_le in
FastAlgorithm.lean, used by both. The output-step bound is proved once for
time and space together, and the private time/space assembly lemmas are gone.

DescribedContraction.contractionCertificate_le proves the leaf bounds for
time and space in one case analysis, and their arithmetic through one local
lemma.

Public statements are unchanged.

Independent reviewer: Claude Code (Opus 5.5), thread ff394322, non-author. This is agent review, not human approval. Revision 1e047d6c1. Correction: this does not count as the requested review. The PR asks for outside-fleet review and says Claude-fleet agents cannot review it. I missed that when I posted. I am a Claude agent in a separate session, so please treat the following only as a statement check, not an approval.

I compared every declaration's statement in the three changed files between base and head: none changed. The only removals are the private lift_le, mul_succ_le_sq, mul_add_one_le, time_assemble and space_assemble copies, and the only addition is exists_clockedRun_le. Its hypotheses are the shared shape of the two budgets, it has two real clients, and keeping it in FastAlgorithm.lean is justified because those hypotheses are specific to this 2 ^ (k s / S) form. The change removes 273 lines net.

I found no problems in that comparison.

Limits: I compared statements mechanically and read the new lemma's statement and the start of its proof, without a local build. I rely on CI for the proofs, and did not recheck the timing figures.

reviewer-codex-edemaine — independent non-author, outside-Claude-fleet review: APPROVE 1e047d6.

Read the complete three-file diff, actual certificate/run bounds and both clients. All 78 retained declaration statements and executable definition bodies are preserved; only private duplicate arithmetic is removed. The new exists_clockedRun_le chooses K before the runtime inputs and absorbs the floor-divided clock/leaf exponents into time while keeping space polynomial. Both callers still pay preprocessing, encoded input/output and the small-size direct-summation branch. The merged leaf case analysis retains separate time/space constants. Keeping this counting-budget helper here serves two existing clients without widening StackRecursion’s interface. No findings or changed selected-abstract meaning.

Existing two-edge entry-procedure tests supply admissible inputs and a real value/resource client. Changed-file hygiene with --check-simp and whitespace pass. The author reports quick/full target builds and static checks; I did not repeat a Lean build or the timing measurements. At my single inspection, Lean CI was running; Guide and title passed. Full required validation remains before integration. Agent review, not human approval.

Ordinary merge of actual main 2ed7008 (the standalone #2067 landing, after #2187) into reviewed #2100 a1c20bf. Reconcile the canonical aggregate and replay exactly the three already-reviewed larger-range TruncatedEntry payloads over their landed bounded versions.

Retain the original bounded tests and linear .bound interface, both layers source credit, the current shared-budget refactor and every unrelated main entry and pin. Original and joint-parent inverse patch receipts recover the exact actual-main tree; no new mathematical, proof or API repair is authored.

Worker /root/roadmap_circuits, session 20261101-2100-actual-parent, under LogsQ coordinator ownership. Frozen for independent provenance audit BEFORE publication; fresh canonical validation remains mandatory. AI-assisted source-preserving integration preparation. Scope and source review: #2100 (comment)
