What is this about?

Adds Strunk to the quick-add list under Manage › Connectors › Add connector. Strunk publishes drafts to Google Docs for review, then brings reviewer comments back so the author can revise from their AI tool.

What problem does it solve?

OpenWork users already run Strunk as a custom MCP server. An admin who wants it for their team has to find the URL and use Add any MCP. With a preset it's one card.

What was the situation before?

Strunk was reachable only through Add any MCP or a workspace MCP.

How is this implemented?

  • One entry in ee/apps/den-api/src/capability-sources/external-mcp-presets.ts, placed with the other plain-OAuth servers after Polar, following the Granola preset (feat(connections): Granola + Render quick-add presets #2555).
  • authType: "oauth", no requiresOAuthClient. Strunk's authorization server advertises client_id_metadata_document_supported: true and a registration_endpoint, so members just approve in the browser.

What else changed?

None.

Release note

Admins can add Strunk from the connector list in one click.

Evidence

  • https://strunk.io/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server lists client_id_metadata_document_supported: true, PKCE S256 and token_endpoint_auth_methods_supported including none.
  • A paying Strunk customer already connects from OpenWork through https://api.openworklabs.com/oauth/client-metadata.json (seen in our server logs).
  • Not typechecked locally: I didn't set up the den-api workspace. The entry matches the ExternalMcpPreset type field for field.

Submitted on behalf of First Crack Studio Ltd, which accepts the Corporate CLA in CONTRIBUTING.md.
