My dotfiles

This repository contains basic configuration files for:

• Vim
• Zsh
• Tmux
• Starship
• Git
• Terminal apps (Ptyxis, macOS, iTerm2)

They should work fine on both Linux and macOS environments. One all applications are installed on the system, dotfiles can be applied by running:

./setup.sh

The script can be re-run safely: existing links are replaced, and existing files are backed up with a .bak suffix. On macOS, the iTerm2 profile is installed as a dynamic profile and set as the default one.

Some extra manual steps may be necessary, see below:

• Install FiraCode Nerd Font from https://www.nerdfonts.com/font-downloads.
• If using macOS terminal, import macos-terminal-profile.terminal.
• Commits are GPG signed. To import the signing key, install GnuPG (and pinentry-mac on macOS, e.g. brew install gnupg pinentry-mac), export the key with gpg --export-secret-keys --armor gerard@teslabs.com > key.asc and pass it to the setup script: ./setup.sh key.asc.
