Hamanaka Software Factory

Mike Hamanaka · Local-first AI tools, evidence systems and edge experiments

From intent to reviewable software.

One software factory. Many ways to help build it.

I'm Mike Hamanaka. Hamanaka Software Factory is my workshop for building AI-assisted software with visible evidence and human control. Most of the integration work comes together in ai-dashboard, my private operator console for agents, inference, work boards, spend and machine health. The surrounding repositories are focused tools, experiments and interfaces into that larger system.

This is one ecosystem, not a collection of unrelated demos. Public and private describe source access; both belong on the map. A private repository link explains its role without distributing its code.

The Hamanaka Software Factory ecosystem

A 14-second tour of the seven Hamanaka Software Factory areas, with selected projects and ways to contribute.

Explore at your own pace · Still preview · Compact factory card · Full repository role map

The map contains all 32 repositories in the 28 October 2026 inventory. Areas group responsibilities; they do not assert that every experiment has a deployed adapter. I describe AI Dashboard as the integration hub. Each project's source and release notes establish its individual implementation and maturity.

The 14-second preview follows the explorer's seven-stop tour. Open the interactive map to select an area, search projects, filter source access and inspect contribution ideas. Public tools can improve independently; I can evaluate integration into the broader system later.

The factory core

The private workshop where most integration happens.

Repository Access / maturity Role
ai-dashboard Private · Integration hub The local command center where I bring agents, inference, tickets, spend, evidence and machine health together.
cofoundry Private · Private engine Packaged supervisor, job dispatch, local execution, readiness and audited controls.
edgerecord-ai Private · Private workspace Local AI stack workspace and durable agent handoffs.

Intent, sessions & delivery

Public tools for turning an idea into reviewable work.

Repository Access / maturity Role
panther-intent-capture Public · Browser extension Capture browser intent into reviewed proposals and portable context.
panther-companion Public · Desktop companion Explain selected evidence in the context of a current goal.
taskrivet Public · Desktop alpha Persistent agent terminals, bounded task context and reviewable results.
osprey Public · Prerelease A Mac supervisor for selected Taskrivet output and reviewed work records.
el-hidratador Public · Staging experiment Expand a ticket into bounded context and reviewable execution preparation.

Evidence & institutional memory

Contracts, independent checks, retained records and lessons.

Repository Access / maturity Role
fluxrecord Public · Ticket standard A shared language for bounded context, evidence and visible failures.
el-verificador Public · Verification tooling Independent intent checks and proof records for reviewable coding work.
the-chronicler Public · Memory tooling Turn local failure evidence into reviewed lessons and reusable heuristics.
edgerecord-core Private · Private verifier Deterministic append-only state verification for edge nodes.
edgerecord Private · Private workspace Local verification and evidence workspace.

Repository Access / maturity Role
the-surveyor Public · Read-only discovery Hardware discovery, topology snapshots and change reports.
the-tower Public · Prototype Thermal, power and memory observations with advisory dispatch planning.
horizon-broker Public · Alpha Asynchronous inference queues with retries and failover; the real ledger adapter remains unfinished.
VortexMesh Public · Learning experiment Go event envelopes and an in-process concurrent pub/sub mesh.

Simulation & product experiments

Repository Access / maturity Role
archify Public · Upstream fork An agent skill for interactive technical diagrams.
wad-sbx-workshop Public · Workshop fork Docker Sandboxes learning material and host-side testing connectors.

Build a useful piece of the bigger system

You do not need access to the private factory to contribute. Pick a public tool, reproduce a problem, or propose a small interface with synthetic inputs and explicit failure behavior. Experiments and learning projects are part of the workshop too.

Area Useful starting points
Intent and sessions Browser compatibility, accessible capture controls, terminal recovery and bounded context handoffs.
Evidence and memory Portable receipts, adversarial verification fixtures, clearer failure reports and retrieval evaluation.
Machines and inference Hardware fixtures, topology diffs, queue cancellation, idempotency and failover.
Simulations Deterministic fictional scenarios, offline CRM adapters and reproducible protocol examples.
Public experience Improve this atlas, project setup guides, keyboard navigation and contributor orientation.

Start in the relevant public repository's issues, or open an ecosystem idea when the connection spans projects or touches a private component. The atlas gives each repository a more specific contribution idea. Check the project's license and contribution guidance before coding; invitations are not pre-approved integration commitments.

The Software Factory approach

Local tools, visible evidence and human control. Intent is reviewed before execution; completed sessions are distinct from accepted outcomes. Interfaces should explain failures, preserve provenance and make recovery possible. Use synthetic examples in public discussions, rather than credentials or private operational data.
