hotdata-dev/claude-plugins is now the hotdata marketplace. It lists this plugin in hotdata-dev/claude-plugins#3, alongside hotdata-cli.

  • Removes .claude-plugin/marketplace.json. It was also named hotdata, and Claude Code allows one marketplace per name. Anyone who had added this repo as a marketplace couldn't add the shared one.
  • README install now uses claude plugin marketplace add hotdata-dev/claude-plugins. It also:
    • says to install the hotdata CLI and run hotdata auth login first (scripts/hotdata.py fails with "the hotdata CLI is not on PATH" otherwise)
    • tells people who added this repo before to run claude plugin marketplace remove hotdata

Merge order: merge hotdata-dev/claude-plugins#3 first. Until then, the install command in the README fails with "plugin not found".

Verified

  • claude plugin validate --strict passes on the plugin manifest.
  • ./test.sh: 64 passed.
  • I installed the plugin from claude-plugins#3's branch in a throwaway config earlier; it installed 3.0.0. That install came from master, so it didn't include this PR's change.

No version bump is needed: the plugin's code is unchanged, and the files removed here only matter when the repo is added as a marketplace.

hotdata-dev/claude-plugins is now the hotdata marketplace and lists this
plugin (claude-plugins#3). This repo's own marketplace.json used the same
name, and Claude Code allows one marketplace per name, so anyone who had
added this repo could not add the shared one. Drop it and point the README
at hotdata-dev/claude-plugins.

The README also says the plugin needs the hotdata CLI, and how to remove
the old repo-local marketplace.
Comment thread README.md
The plugin calls the `hotdata` CLI, so install that first (`curl -fsSL
https://hotdata.dev/install | sh`) and run `hotdata auth login`.

If you added this repository as a marketplace before, remove it first with

nit: Move the CLI prerequisite and the marketplace remove step above the sh block (not blocking).

A reader who runs the block top to bottom hits the name conflict on marketplace add before reading "remove it first". Put both steps before line 87, or add claude plugin marketplace remove hotdata as a commented first line in the block. The same order fixes the CLI step, which line 92 also calls "first".
