Hyfic

Hyfic’s independent product studio website. Astro builds it as plain HTML, CSS and small browser scripts. Hosting needs no application server, database or framework runtime.

Develop

Astro writes the complete static site to dist/. The source stays on main. On pushes to main, .github/workflows/deploy.yml checks and builds the site, then commits only dist/ to the existing website branch. For GitHub Pages, select Deploy from a branch → website → / (root) in repository settings. public/CNAME preserves hyfic.org, and public/.nojekyll lets Pages serve the generated _astro assets.

All routes are generated as files and work on direct navigation. Shared Astro components live in src/components/. Homepage styling is in src/styles/home.css; the project pages keep their existing palettes and layouts.

The site links directly to GitHub releases. It stores no APK or DMG files. Add future release links to the corresponding page under src/pages/, or to the standalone finance HTML page.

Homepage implementation

The homepage is a static black-and-white studio page with three app icons, app descriptions, and contact links. It has no homepage JavaScript, product screenshots, expandable app panels, or decorative scenes. App data lives in src/data/site.ts; markup and styling live in src/pages/index.astro and src/styles/home.css.

The display font is the font served by the supplied Aside reference, saved as public/fonts/AsideDisplay.woff2. Its source is AsideDisplay Variable. Body text uses Geist, also used by Aside, from Google Fonts with its OFL license in public/fonts/Geist-LICENSE.txt.

The existing app pages retain their own styles and assets. Run npm run check and npm run build before deploying through the existing GitHub Pages workflow.
