What

  • InkletAPI.contents(query:) sends GET /contents?q= (trimmed, capped at 200 characters, RFC 3986 unreserved-only percent-encoding so &/+/% in a term survive).
  • Knowledge: the search box is debounced 300ms and runs on the server over the whole library, not the heatmap window's rows. Shows "Searching…", the first 50 matches with a note when more exist, and the backend's error if the request fails. Clearing the box returns to the local list.

Depends on

inklethq/backend feat/content-search. Against an older backend q is ignored and the first 50 Contents come back unfiltered, so ship after that is deployed.

Verified

swift build, swift test (71 passing).

The search box settles for 300ms, then asks GET /contents?q= — titles,
note text, link URLs, filenames, and what the ingest worker read out of
images and files — instead of matching titles of the rows already
loaded for the heatmap window. Results are the first 50 matches, with a
note when there are more; clearing the box returns to the local list.
