a 48-hour hackathon set up by claude community madrid and hosted by causa prima and nova. eighteen teams built ai agents that competed against each other in a live trading market, where every deal had to be negotiated. we built an agent that negotiated on its own and learned from rival teams as the game went on. it also ran its own marketplace where other teams traded, and we finished 3rd out of 18 teams.

built an ai tool that turns raw meeting transcripts into clear summaries and flags moments where a client is unhappy. it replaced a review process that was previously done by hand.

data scientist intern @ british airways
built an automated system that collected over 13,000 records of competitor fares and seat availability across six routes over two years. the analysis uncovered a 29% rise in winter delays and showed that demand fell as fares rose on every route, which directly shaped how the airline scheduled its capacity.

1st place @ EDP x IE datathon
developed an approach to run battery energy storage systems (BESS) more efficiently. the batteries charge when solar panels produce more power than the grid needs and release it when demand rises. we used multivariate time series forecasting to predict supply and demand, and our model ranked #1 in accuracy.

research @ IE tech lab x bloomberg
co-developed a bloomberg-sponsored esg trust score, a rating that helps investors judge how companies perform on sustainability, along with a simplified version of the bloomberg terminal designed for everyday investors. i worked directly with the bloomberg team throughout.

research @ IE econ data lab x UNDP
conducted a comparative study for the united nations development programme on how cities in north america and south asia invest in resilience against disasters and other shocks, using longitudinal time series economic data.

i've played eleven years of rugby at national and international level in the uae and jordan, and i'm still playing today in spain. i also compete in arm wrestling. i'm very comfortable in front of a camera, having done fashion modeling campaigns, and as an aspiring actor i'm currently directing my own horror short film. in my free time i love learning about pharmacy because chemistry intrigues me :3
