copies your whole terminal output to clipboard. no more dragging your mouse up 1000 lines after a test run.
cali
copyall # same thing, if you forget the short one
windows won't let you just grab a terminal's scrollback after the fact, so instead cali starts logging your session the second your shell opens (via powershell's Start-Transcript). typing cali just grabs that log and dumps it on your clipboard.
stick this in your $PROFILE:
. "C:\prog\cli-tool\powershell\cali.ps1"restart your shell (or open a new tab) and you're good. works in windows terminal, vs code, wherever.
there's a rust version in src/ too, same idea, was gonna be a proper cross-platform binary like zoxide. problem: windows Smart App Control flat out blocks unsigned exes with no download history, and a binary i compiled on my own machine has neither. no way around it short of buying a code-signing cert.
scripts don't have that problem since they run through powershell itself, which is already trusted. so that's the version that actually works right now. rust code's just sitting there for whenever i get around to signing it or porting to mac/linux.
- only grabs stuff since your shell session started, not ancient scrollback from before
- gets confused by fancy progress bars / TUI stuff
- windows + powershell only for now
