Closes #2

Thanks @joseph1020 for the suggestion.

What changes

Converting a clip into a note needed the mouse: dragging it onto the notes column, or the context menu. Now it has a keyboard shortcut.

  • ⌘N converts the selected clip to a note and moves the selection onto that note. The full flow from the issue now works without the mouse: ⇧⌘V → pick a clip → ⌘N → ↩ to edit → ⌘↩ to paste.
  • It's rebindable. "Convert to Note" sits in Settings › Shortcuts › Item actions next to Edit, Pin, Delete, Stack and Open, and resets the same way.
  • Shortcuts can now use arrow keys, so something like ⌥⌘→ (send it right, toward the notes column) works too. An arrow needs two of ⌘ ⌥ ⌃; the recorder refuses one alone, since ⌘/⌥+arrow already move the caret in the search field (which always has focus) and ⌃+arrow switches Spaces.

Behaviour details

Situation ⌘N does
A clip (or link) is selected Converts it and selects the new note
The notes pane is focused, nothing is selected, the notes column is hidden, or the clip is an image Nothing, but the key is still claimed so no n is typed into the field
  • A shortcut bound to ↑ or ↓ wins over moving the selection. Holding the key still walks the list: a repeat never fires a shortcut.
  • ⇥, esc and ↩ keep their structural meaning ahead of any shortcut, as before.

Tests

  • swift test: 583 tests pass, direct and App Store (BACKPOCKET_MAS=1) variants. Six are new:
    • default binding is ⌘N
    • arrow names and glyphs (← → ↑ ↓)
    • an arrow needs two of ⌘⌥⌃
    • a shortcut rebound onto an arrow matches it
    • a bound ↑/↓ outranks the list move, and a held arrow still walks
    • when convert applies, and when the key is only consumed
  • make lint: clean.
  • Checked the Settings window in an isolated debug build: "Convert to Note ⌘N" appears under Item actions.
  • Not done: an end-to-end key press in the running panel. Synthetic key events need Accessibility permission. The dispatch path is covered by the unit tests above.

Docs

  • README (EN/KO) shortcut tables: added ⌘N.
  • CHANGELOG: entry under Unreleased.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Turning a clip into a note took the mouse: a drag onto the notes column
or the context menu. Cmd+N now does it from the keyboard and selects the
new note, so a clip can be kept, edited with Enter and pasted with
Cmd+Enter without leaving the keys. It joins the other item shortcuts in
Settings, where it can be rebound.

Rebinding now also accepts arrow keys, held with two of Cmd, Option and
Control. One alone is already spoken for — Cmd and Option move the
caret in the search field, which always has focus, and Control switches
Spaces — so the recorder refuses it. A shortcut bound to Up or Down
outranks the list move it would otherwise be, except while the key is
held, so walking the list by holding an arrow still works.
