Summary

Revamps the existing ui/embed/sharepoint-customizer sample in place. It works with both GHCP and standard harness agents; no separate harness setting is required.

• Clean Fluent chat panel with native starter cards, Markdown, cards, suggested replies, and streamed responses.
• Local file selection, paste/drop, previews, removal, and validation.
• Independently configurable reasoning and tool activity, hidden by default.
• Improved Microsoft sign-in recovery, visible errors, reconnection, and scrolling.
• Copilot Studio icon launcher, circular refresh for New conversation, and single-chevron collapse.
• Cross-platform deployment script with a properties file and explicit runtime app client ID, separate deployment authentication, safe catalog updates, and verified single-site installation.
• Simple manual deployment and app-registration instructions linked to Microsoft documentation.
• Screenshots of the deployed welcome screen, conversation, and agent activity; requester names are redacted. Required Jekyll front matter and navigation are preserved.
• Prominent notice that the SDK client currently uses beta 1.10.0-beta.7.g65f69dfa27. WebChat and its Fluent theme use released 4.19.2.

Behavior and deployment

• By default, the panel shows local starters and starts the agent conversation after the first submission. startConversation: true uses the agent's welcome flow instead.
• Uploads and typing are enabled by default; reasoning and tool activity are disabled by default.
• Collapse preserves the conversation; New conversation clears it.
• The launcher uses the supported SPFx Top placeholder, without modifying the Microsoft 365 suite header.
• Package v1.1.0.1 requires installation on the target site; tenant-wide activation is excluded.
• Deployment supports --dry-run and --package-only. Shared-catalog replacement requires a newer version and explicit --replace; identical packages are reused without duplicate registrations.
• The script does not sign in, create app registrations, grant permissions, or silently uninstall apps.

Validation

• 129 unit/integration tests pass.
• Actual Windows, macOS, and Linux tests and production packaging passed for the live-tested code revision: OS matrix.
• Live v1.1.0.1 deployment succeeded: installed version, one site-scoped customizer, and exact configuration were verified. Repeating deployment made zero remote changes.
• The user confirmed the deployed site works and supplied screenshots of the initial reply and a follow-up list query.
• Browser coverage includes both harnesses and all four reasoning/tool visibility combinations.
• Jekyll build passed; navigation hierarchy, all three rendered screenshot links, and copied image assets were verified.
• Live standard-harness connector completion and file-content analysis were not validated; agent-specific capabilities still require testing in the target environment.

Local tenant settings, credentials, browser artifacts, and generated packages are excluded.
