Take the lobby id from a pasted Poki or CrazyGames invite link - #6105
Conversation
Join Lobby only looked for /game/<id> in a pasted URL. Poki's invite links carry the id as ?gdgameId=…, so pasting one did nothing, and CrazyGames' (/game/openfront?gameId=…) yielded "openfront", which passes GAME_ID_REGEX. Read gdgameId/gameId from the query before the path. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Preserve the ID in OpenFront lobby links.
If a pasted link is https://openfront.io/game/AbCd1234?gameId=EfGh5678, this line returns EfGh5678 instead of the path ID. The join flow can then open the wrong lobby. Prefer the path ID for OpenFront links, and use portal query parameters for portal links. Add a test with conflicting IDs.
The PR objective says existing /game/<id> links remain unchanged.

Summary
Pasting a portal invite link into Join Lobby didn't work:
extractLobbyIdFromUrlonly looked for/game/<id>in the path.poki.com/en/g/openfront?gdgameId=AbCd1234), so nothing was extracted.crazygames.com/game/openfront?gameId=AbCd1234, and the path match returnedopenfront, which passesGAME_ID_REGEX(8–10 alphanumerics), so we tried to join a lobby called "openfront".The modal now reads
gdgameId, thengameId, from the query before falling back to the path. Our own/game/<id>links and bare ids are unchanged.Test plan
