Chicago-based agentic engineer building free, open source, decentralized tools across AI, Bitcoin, and the web.
I care about software that expands freedom, reduces dependence on closed systems, and helps push the world toward more liberty and prosperity.
A free, open source, version-controlled link-in-bio platform for people who want to own and customize their online presence.
A research-driven registry tracking where AI, open source, Bitcoin-native coordination, and distributed manufacturing can break overpriced corporate moats.
An open Bitcoin mining experiment that lets anyone play around with real mining, inspect the proof, and learn how Bitcoin mining works using their own computer's CPU or GPU. It offers a hands-on way to understand where consumer and home mining fit in a more open future, including the astronomically low but real chance of actually winning a block.

My independently maintained fork of Project Midas, bringing modern aiming, movement, and HUD options to the GoldenEye 007 PC port. Features include aim down sights, sprinting, sniper scope zoom, and improved combat feedback, with Windows builds and a browser preview. Requires your own GoldenEye 007 USA ROM.
These projects span publishing, research, Bitcoin, and games, connected by an interest in open software, user ownership, and building on the work of others.
A headless Bitcoin node and wallet implementation in Rust, built around Bitcoin Knots parity for the in-scope consensus, validation, chainstate, mempool, networking, wallet, RPC, CLI, and configuration surfaces.
The current headless v1 parity surfaces are ready for review and operator testing, but this is not yet for production funds or unattended mainnet operation.
Preview screenshot coming once the project has a stable UI or public dashboard worth showing.
I am interested in tools, protocols, and services that move power outward: toward users, builders, open networks, and smaller teams.
- Freedom is good.
- Open systems tend to outlast closed ones.
- AI keeps compressing expertise and raising the ceiling for small teams.
- Bitcoin makes more decentralized coordination possible.
- Software should expand human agency, not just lock people into another box.
I primarily build with GPT 6.1 Sol High in Codex Desktop or Opus 5.5 High in the Claude Desktop app. I use the two setups interchangeably.
Bright Builds Rules captures my evolving standards for code quality, architecture, and maintainability.
For my current setups, see my-tooling-opinions.
