What changed

  • Look: the settings pages use Prosopo's colours. There's a navy header with the white logo, pink main buttons and toggles, and purple tabs and links, matching prosopo.io and the new wordpress.org banner.
  • Removed the "Type" setting. It did nothing: the widget ignores a captchaType attribute, because the challenge type is set per site key in the Prosopo portal (and choosing one is a Professional feature). The Statistics page now shows the site key's real challenge type, from settings.captchaType in the API response the plugin already fetches.
  • New "Language" setting: "Same as the site" (default) passes the WordPress locale to the widget as language. "Visitor's browser language" keeps the old behaviour.
  • No keys yet: a "Get your free site key" panel with the 3 setup steps and a link to prosopo.io/register.
  • "What protects your forms" card: the invisible check, honeypot and abusive-network blocking, and no cookies, all of which are on the free plan, plus a link to the data processing agreement.
  • Upgrade banner: now lists what Professional really adds (Spam Filter, VPN/proxy filtering, choosing the challenge type, risk score, 1M requests and 50 sites, support and uptime) and offers the 30-day free trial. It used to say "unlimited sites" and listed traffic analytics, which Free already has.
  • Statistics:
    • Slider counts are added. Icon-order and audio counts show once they're above zero.
    • All new fields are optional, so the current API (which doesn't send them yet) still works.
    • Traffic analytics now links every plan to the portal charts. Free used to get an upgrade prompt instead.
'- Load failure: if the statistics can'''t load (usually wrong keys), the empty usage cards are hidden. A message says to check the keys on the General tab, with a Try again link. It used to show 0 / 0 (0%) with empty bars.
  • Translations:' every string is translated into DE, ES, FR, IT and PT, including 9 that were already missing.
  • Release details: "Tested up to" is 7.1, the version is 1.22.0 with a changelog, and the four wordpress.org screenshots are retaken.

Effect: the plugin matches our brand and tells site owners accurately what they get. No changes to how forms are protected.

Tests:

  • Run against WordPress 7.1.3, the latest, in Docker. I checked free and paid accounts (statistics API mocked), the no-keys state, all four tabs, and the admin in German.
  • On the login page the widget gets en-US / de-DE from the site language, and none when "Visitor's browser language" is chosen. On a German site it shows German text for an English browser.
  • phpcs, PHPStan, Pest, ESLint, Prettier and tsc all pass.
