Pyglet 2.1 issues #2278

Description

@einarf

Notes from #2226

To resolve:

  • (Upstream) Whatever's going with Screen types and pyglet's import trickery
  • (Upstream) Resolve upstream Python font issues:
    • split bold into string weight + bold (ty to Ben!)
    • investigate obliqueness values + split if necessary (investigated with @DigiDuncan, no nice way so deferred til after 2.1)

Moving to 3.1+

  • Verify that the workaround for pyglet font loading changes works
  • Look for ways to simplify and/or make our Text more durable
  • The GUI stack & event handlers?
