This repository contains the source code and benchmark tests between Sisk and several other frameworks.
To run the tests, you will need to have installed and available in the environment:
Run all tests with node run-benchmarks.js or bun run-benchmarks.js. Use --fast for a sub-minute smoke benchmark that runs one 5-second measurement at 100 connections after a 1-second warmup, skipping real-world scenarios and AI insights. Use --baseline11 for the HTTPArena-compatible baseline11 workload: 4,096 keep-alive connections, mixed GET/POST with Content-Length and chunked bodies, best of three rounds. Use --only-sisk to benchmark only the Sisk projects, or --project "Sisk (Cadente)" to select an exact project. Options can be combined, such as node run-benchmarks.js --only-sisk --fast. Run with --help to see all options.
Results are written to /benchmark-results. The report includes requests/second, average and p99 latency, aggregate server CPU, and peak server RSS memory for each connection level. CPU can exceed 100% because one fully utilized logical core equals 100%. Resource metrics include the server process tree and do not include the load generator.
