Hi, I'm Tom

Creative developer near Rome. I build full-stack web products and keep them running in production, from the server up.

  • For 10+ years I built and ran Inkiostro, a secure email-and-print service for prisoners and their families in three Italian prisons: Haxe/Node.js, MySQL, my own Postfix/Dovecot mail server, WeasyPrint PDF pipelines and QR-coded scanned replies.
  • Co-founder and lead developer of Locro, a scheduling SaaS for Cambridge exam centres.
  • Before that, rich-media campaigns, games and microsites for The Body Shop, BBC, Disney, Samsung, Visa, Jimmy Choo and others.
  • Today: custom WordPress builds, web apps and Linux hosting for small businesses in the UK and Italy.
