Fork Notice

This repository is a fork of pquerna/otp, maintained by Verystar. Full credit for the original implementation goes to Paul Querna.

Differences from upstream:

Module path changed to github.com/verystar/otp.
Zero third-party dependencies: tests are written with the Go standard library only (the github.com/stretchr/testify dependency was removed).
CI runs go test on Go 1.20 / 1.25 / 1.26.
QR code image generation (Key.Image) is not included; render Key.URL() with any QR code library instead.
