🟡 Buzz agents register as Claude
When a Buzz agent registers through the Rust SDK, registration_cli_from_hint replaces its unrecognized buzz hint with Claude. The agent's metadata.cli then reports the wrong harness.
Learn more
The Rust registration client stores a normalized CLI hint in agent metadata when it creates an agent through register_agent_token. Its normalize_cli recognizes the previously supported harnesses but not Buzz. The fallback then substitutes the configured default or Claude, leaving registered Buzz agents mislabeled. The agent panel reads that metadata to show the CLI.
Example: A Rust client configured with default claude calls register_agent_token("worker", Some("buzz")). It sends metadata.cli: "claude", although the agent uses Buzz.
Recommended fix: Extend normalize_cli to preserve buzz and cover Buzz hints and defaults in its existing registration tests.

🟡 Spawn CLI list excludes Buzz
The new buzz note contradicts the adjacent accepted-CLI list, which still ends at devin. Readers get two conflicting descriptions of the spawn API.
Learn more
The existing accepted-CLI list directly above this note enumerates all spawn choices but omits Buzz. Adding a separate note duplicates the same guidance rather than updating that list, contrary to the documentation rule in AGENTS.md.
Example: A reader checks the CLI list to configure relay.agents.spawn() and sees only devin as its last choice; the following Buzz note states that Buzz also works.
Recommended fix: Add buzz to the existing accepted-CLI list and remove the redundant standalone note.

🟡 Engine and SDK release notes omit Buzz
The new buzz value also changes spawn validation and SDK types. Neither package's changelog records its new API choice.
Learn more
The shared schema is imported by the engine's spawn validator, and the TypeScript SDK exports the derived spawn request type. Both packages have changelogs with unreleased sections, but only the types changelog documents Buzz. The changelog rule calls for API details in each relevant package changelog.
Example: A user upgrading the SDK reads its package changelog to find newly accepted spawn CLIs; it lists Muse and Devin in the prior release but never mentions Buzz.
Recommended fix: Add concise pending entries to the engine and TypeScript SDK changelogs, applying the corresponding unreleased release-level headings.

Expanded CLI schema breaks downstream test assertions
Medium Severity
The unchanged assertions in packages/sdk-typescript/src/__tests__/spawn-type-safety.test.ts:6-8 and packages/engine/src/__tests__/conformance/node.test.ts:547 still encode the previous CLI list. Adding buzz changes the SDK's inferred union, so its two exact expectTypeOf comparisons fail compilation under tsconfig.workspace-types.json, which the SDK test script explicitly runs. The engine's three invalid-CLI cases also fail because the route generates its error message from CliTypeSchema.options, now including buzz, while their expected string does not. Both suites run through CI's npx turbo test. Update these downstream expectations alongside the shared schema.

Update the engine's exact CLI error expectation
When the engine conformance suite exercises an invalid CLI in packages/engine/src/__tests__/conformance/node.test.ts:537-548, the route builds its error message from CliTypeSchema.options, so this change makes the response end in devin, buzz while the test still expects it to end in devin. All three invalid-CLI cases now fail; update the expectation and include Buzz in the accepted dispatch matrix.

Consolidate Buzz into the existing CLI list
The exhaustive CLI list immediately above still ends with muse or devin, while this new sentence separately says that buzz is accepted and repeats the same host-availability caveat. Readers now encounter two definitions of the supported set; add buzz to the existing list and remove the duplicate sentence so the README remains an unambiguous source of truth.

Record Buzz in all affected package changelogs
This shared schema change also makes POST /v1/agents/spawn accept Buzz in @relaycast/engine and expands the public relay.agents.spawn() CLI union in @relaycast/sdk, but both package changelogs retain an empty [Unreleased] section. Add appropriately leveled entries to those affected package changelogs so their next published release notes describe the user-visible API change.

🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Align the earlier CLI list with the new buzz support.
The preceding list of accepted values for /v1/agents/spawn stops at devin, but this paragraph adds buzz. The route uses CliTypeSchema (packages/engine/src/routes/agent.ts, Line 140), which now accepts buzz. Update the earlier list to include buzz, or narrow its claim to the API surfaces that do not accept it.
As per coding guidelines, “Keep README.md and openapi.yaml aligned with behavior.”
