A confirmed Codex serverOverloaded failure schedules at most five promptless retries after a ten-second backoff. The original logical turn stays open, each retry retains its settings, and the prompt and attachments are sent once. Stop, supersession, scope closure, revision drift and unconfirmed starts prevent stale replay.
Restores owner PR #19 on pinned nightly source, using the narrow capacity reducer and cases from reference #91. Managed runtime validation has a separate bounded 30-second check after the ten-second delay. This layer follows merged account-switch PR #97 and preserves its regressions.
Also fixes the ACP replay fixture race exposed by this PR's Test Server 6 job: the fixture now atomically publishes a validated replay checkpoint before exposing its answer. The strict completeness reader and existing assertions remain intact. A captured synthetic child demonstrates that interruption during publication preserves the prior valid checkpoint and withholds the final answer.
Validation: all 336 tests in the capacity affected union passed. The old ACP writer deterministically reproduced the truncated-JSON failure; the repaired ACP/replay union passed all 254 tests with no skips. After codec-only corrections to the new test, all ten publication cases passed again; the other three modules and writer remained byte-identical. Final server typechecking and scoped formatting/lint passed. Current-head CI remains pending. No live account, provider request, runtime replacement or adoption was performed.
