Stop now reads Codex’s native goal and pauses an active goal before interrupting children and the root. Goal read/write share a one-second bound; uncertain goal control produces a visible warning and is never replayed. Child interrupts run first with bounded concurrency and timeouts. A missing root acknowledgement returns failed Stop and keeps the root running until authoritative completion, instead of inventing an interrupted terminal.
Ports owner #24 (successor to #21) and the sync26 behavior onto the current V2 adapter, stacked above #100. Preserves explicit V2 turn ownership, capacity recovery, account continuation, background-command containment, and receipt semantics. Superseded #21’s exact source object is unavailable locally; successor #24 and sync26 sources provide the recorded provenance. No live provider or runtime adoption is claimed.
Validation: 385 tests across 12 affected modules passed without skips; the original background Stop replay was adapted to the new goal read while retaining its assertions and timeout. The unsupported-goal regression failed against the parent at the expected missing request. Server typecheck and scoped formatting/lint passed; lint retains two existing unused-variable warnings. Final test execution includes the typed decoder/import repairs. Verified commit
8d31012ce9a6719024ef015077512f194587a66eis clean, directly parented by #100’s current head; hooks preserved the validated bytes. CI remains required before merge.Need help on this PR? Tag
