# Hive Adopters

Organizations and projects using Hive in evaluation, development, or
production. This list exists to help the community and the CNCF gauge
real-world adoption — thank you for adding yourself.
The canonical adopters list lives in the Hive repository:

## How to add your organization
**→ https://github.com/hivecommons/hive/blob/HEAD/ADOPTERS.md**

1. Open a pull request against this file adding **one row** to the table,
keeping the list alphabetical by organization.
2. Sign your commit (`git commit -s`) like any other contribution.
3. Use an email/handle affiliated with the organization, or link a public
reference (blog post, talk, repo) that supports the entry.
4. Only add your **own** organization. Maintainers will not add adopters
on hearsay, and entries may be verified before merge.
5. To update or remove your entry later, open another PR.
That file is the single source of truth for who runs Hive and at what
adoption level (evaluation / development / production). This copy used to
carry a second, hand-maintained table that drifted from the canonical one
(Project Bluefin was missing; tunaos.org was shown as development while
the canonical list — backed by each adopter's own hive config, README and
linked production evidence — records both as Production). To avoid that
drift recurring, this file is now only a pointer.

**Adoption levels:** `evaluation` (trying it out), `development`
(pre-production / internal tooling), `production` (running real
workloads).

[`hivecommons/hive` `ADOPTERS.md`](https://github.com/hivecommons/hive/blob/HEAD/ADOPTERS.md)
following the instructions at the top of that file (one row, DCO-signed,
own organization only, public reference supporting the entry). Adoption
status should be derivable from the adopter's own hive configuration or
README; cite it in the row.

## Governance

Hive is maintained by a three-member Maintainer Committee spanning three organizations, with a documented contributor ladder, DCO-signed contributions, and explicit governance for AI-agent contributions (every merge is accountable to a human maintainer). Governance documents live in this repository: [GOVERNANCE](../GOVERNANCE.md) · [MAINTAINERS](../MAINTAINERS.md) · [CONTRIBUTING](../CONTRIBUTING.md) · [SECURITY](../SECURITY.md) · [CODE_OF_CONDUCT](../CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md) · [ROADMAP](../ROADMAP.md) · [ADOPTERS](../ADOPTERS.md).
