The typing check now has a Start typing button and a 3–2–1 countdown. When it finishes, the field takes focus automatically. WPM timing starts on the first keystroke. Switching steps cancels the countdown, and retry/reset returns focus to Start.

Validated with the production website build, all 104 Playwright tests, and actual Safari typing through the countdown and Enter-to-Speak flow. The existing publication validator also passed against the retained releases and signed feed, without publishing.
