A reduced, nontautological parent and a proper heavy heart with positive thresholds ensure that the A-heart and B-petals survive the actual counting child. Along an actual path, every width-j payload with j ≥ 2 is exactly a new marked clause present in the next node: the equality excludes both the current node and the root. Neither Choice priority is needed for this local result, and target survival is proved rather than assumed.

Based on actual main after #1272; the original source and earlier audit_prerequisites work/credit are preserved. The new source is 178 lines, with 146 lines of controls and one aggregate import. Contract and ownership.

Source: pinned manuscript, Appendix A.1, Lemma A.1, printed p.45. The public intro_subset_countingChild proves heart/petal survival; nontautological_countingChild and nontautological_counting_node preserve the pointwise absence of complementary literals. countingIntro_filter_eq_node_sdiff combines these with #1272's root-to-current subclause invariant. It requires no finite ambient variable type, satisfiability, or model-count premise. The list predicate in #1255 remains canonical for its representation; no second nontautology definition or competing normalization/search implementation is introduced.

Controls exercise mixed polarities and both actual branches (one width-two heart versus four width-two petals), an already-present negated unit, unit-petal survival, a two-step path over ℕ with distinct root/current nodes, failure without reducedness, and an Empty zero-prefix. Width-one payload is deliberately excluded from the event equality: an existing negated unit is payload but is not a new insertion. The unchanged #1272 full-Choice tautological example still inserts four higher-width payload clauses with only three surviving and was rechecked alongside the new tests.

Outside source and actual-parent approval covers the unchanged payload. The original local campaign and hosted checks passed. The queue-conflict refresh merges current main without source/test changes; its exact-head hosted checks must pass before re-enqueue. This is a bounded mathematical milestone for #1226. It does not sum insertion/deletion events or prove the complete Appendix A.2 recurrence, depth/B-step/leaf bounds, or native costs. It introduces no tree or potential. Existing models, encodings and the selected abstract catalogue are unchanged; no abstract PDF changes are needed.
